A note from personal experience: I find that I Comment more than write Entries of my own. And oh, dear - I hope this doesn't disappoint those who read my LJ. (I certainly wouldn't want to lose them!) But I think this is a stage I'm going through, that I want to interact with more people.
Some of things I write, I keep private. I know some LJ Users write very personal, what-I-did-today, diary-type journals. Mine is more like journal-ism, about thoughts and things I come across in the outside world. It's a very complex process, this LJ writing, and I'm only starting to get into it. So far, I enjoy it and appreciate it very much.
Regardless of issues of native language: receptive is so much easier than expressive! Be easy on yourself, Elinka. Read more, maybe?
You're very welcome to read my LJs, this one (deborahj) and my more Israel-oriented one (galileah). Oh, and by the way, Bernard Malamud is my favorite American-Jewish writer.
kind advice
