It's so hard to start writing the journal all of a sudden. My girls do it at school, and it comes natural to them. Whereas, I have to sit down, collect my thoughts, form sentences, and type them in. Never mind the spelling or sentence structure, how do I learn to concentrate?

Some of things I write, I keep private. I know some LJ Users write very personal, what-I-did-today, diary-type journals. Mine is more like journal-ism, about thoughts and things I come across in the outside world. It's a very complex process, this LJ writing, and I'm only starting to get into it. So far, I enjoy it and appreciate it very much.
Regardless of issues of native language: receptive is so much easier than expressive! Be easy on yourself, Elinka. Read more, maybe?
